Site Assessments

Zuvic Carr performs site assessments to evaluate the environmental condition of a property.  The Site Assessments are performed following regulatory guidance, lender requirements or client specific requirements. The following are types of Site Assessments that we perform:

  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and Areas of Concern (AOCs)
  • Phase II ESAs to determine if releases from the RECs or AOCs have occurred
  • Phase III ESAs to sufficiently characterize the extent of releases
  • Feasibility Studies to evaluate remedial alternatives
  • Vapor Intrusion evaluation to determine if harmful vapors may be affecting building inhabitants
  • Zuvic Carr samples and characterizes wastes and other media for proper disposal or potential reuse 

 

Our waste characterization services include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Sampling of soil or other media to determine waste classification and method of waste disposal or reuse
  • Waste/soil profiling and selection of appropriate reuse or disposal facilities
  • Sampling of Wastewater for permit compliance
